I you are set on this idea,then make sure that the agency you choose has a good reputation,and I can tell you for one thing,if they are asking you for a large sum ,for a so called portfolio,then don't join that agency.Good agency's do not charge for this service,If they are really interested in having your children on the books,then they will take them on 'without' you paying out large sums of money.
Also,everyone is of course biased about the way their children look and all mothers think their children are the most beautiful in the world.The agency may well take them on,but unless they are what the client wants,then they could well end up getting a a big let down ,and a complex about themselves.
