As far as if it is wrong, that depends on your religious beliefs. Orthodox Jews must be purified at a mikveh before their husband can touch them after a period. Actually, the mikveh sounds like a very refreshing, enjoyable experience to me..... bathing in natural, running waters that come up to your neck.

Other than personal religious reasons, there is no reason I know of not to engage in sex if you are comfortable with it. Some people engage in sex during the period. Personally, I am not comfortable with that and there is a biblical admonition against it. Again, it depends on what you believe.

Right/Wrong for what?

If you want to have sex during the bleedings, it`s ok, it can be a little embarassing or messy, but you can put a towel under you.

If you don`t want to remain pregnant, the safest days are up to 7 days after the bleeding started.

But, of course, if you don`t want to risk you health by getting infected with STD`s, use condoms!

You can, but like they said, it can be messy. You'll want to use a towel you don't mind staining. Many men find this kind of gross. If you aren't married to the man, you should still use protection. While it is unlikely to get pregnant while you are on your period, you can still get STDs.

Some religions have rules about that but except for that you can have sex before, during, and after, if you don't mind the mess.
