All the Saw movies are Rated R which means if you're under 17 you cannot view at the theatres without a parent or guardian (although I don't know if the theatres regularly enforce this). In my house, I don't allow my kids (15 and 10) to see any R-rated movie until I have viewed it and then I will make my decision. For example, I've allowed my kids to view the Matrix Trilogy (with skipping the sex scene in part 2), but I will not allow my 10 yr old to see Saw (a bit too gory for him).

At least 15 or 16, certainly not younger. I don't really believe that you're 8 but any parent that would let a kid that young watch one of those gruesome torture shows is nuts.

for rated r movies in oklahoma u have to be at least 16 w/o a parent

im 16 and i saw saw and i saw saw 2 too i love them i think it depends how mature you are and if you can handle gruesome things
