Emily Dickinson wrote about Death--one of her most famous is "Because I could not stop for death":
this poem examines death and eternity. Dickinson was interested in death and examined it constantly.

Dickinson also wrote about God and her relationship with Him, and how she viewed religion. This also tied into her view with death.

She constantly wrote about love as well. She was in love with her sister-in-law and wrote many poems about her.
