Yes, you will have to re-enter login names and passwords. If you don't like to do this you can get a password manager.

You will however want to clear your cookies & temp internet files because as more and more accumulate they slow your pc down considerably because they are sending information about you, your pc & your surfing habits back to the site that put them on your pc so they can know how to market you more things to buy &/or let advertisers know.

Your cookies stores your online preferences, user names and data for certain sites. Cookies are also sometimes used to determine whether you visited a site or not and some sites use cookies for tracking purposes. Deleting them will cause you to re enter all those information again, but it can't harm your system or online accounts in any way because cookies are temporary files not used for permanent storing. Many cookies has an expiry date so they will be delete automatically after their expiry date.

Don't know what to say. I clear all my cookes, an I use no sign in manager. An I never have to enter my email address or password for any program that requires this info. (All is remembered).

My platform is Windows XP Pro.

Systems can do strange things that have no logic or answer for.

Yeah you have to reenter everything. You could use the save password feature available in most browsers.
