Most of the time when you buy a complete system the speakers are not matched up for the amp and when you turn up the volume the speakers blow. Then they get that fuzzy sound. I bought speakers that could handle all the watts my amp could put out separately and pitched the ones that came with my setup. Most recent example of this was my wifes E Machine. The speakers blew the first time we used it. Headphone jack sounds like it may have a poor connection in back.

Try uninstalling the Secondary IDE controller from Device Manager under IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers and restart the computer and the issue will be resolved for the fuzzy and broken sound.
To do that :
Click Start->right click mycomputers->properties->
Hardware->Device Manager->click on the + sign next to IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers -> right click on Secondary IDE controller and click on uninstall and restart the notebook computer
