i have read the book but i cant find the chaper... i have looked thru it like 3 times

I think Scott tells Jem that Boo stays inside because he wants to? Also, I think she suggests this to him. It is possible in the first few chapters a while after she is rolling down that road in a log or something.

This would be an easy answer to find if you read the book. I highly recommend the book as you will enjoy it if you just give it a chance. It was one of my favorites in school and even now. No shortcuts, Kid. Sorry.

Sheesh why can't some people just do homework by themselves to learn and I suggest you listen in class to actually see what they say. So, get the book, read it carefully and I bet you could answer your question.
