I have some DVD+R's but in the bottom left corner there is a "RW" logo, does this mean they are re-recordable?

rw, means rewritable, you can add to the disc at a later point where the dvd-r are just a record once and its done event.

I would say yes because RW stands for Re-Writeable.

Yes. They are 're-writiable' and can be erased and re-used.
