I'm having my body frozen and wondered if cryonics might be good for traveling to the stars.

Since there is no current technology to thaw something as complex as a human back to life, cryogenics is wishful thinking. It also takes tremendous energy to leave the solar system, much less travel to the stars. Of course, this might change someday, and cryogenics may someday have a method for reviving someone. Until then, I'll spend my money on Earth.

Technically, it is called Cryonics. And anyway, the guy above got it right. There is no known way to thaw a frozen human being without severe tissue damage during freezing/thawing. In other words, most of your body, including your brain, would be dead cells. Also, (Unless you were to use the vacuum that exists in space) you would have to store unwieldy (And heavy) amounts of coolant along for the ride.
