I make outdoor Adirondack chairs. The best product I have found is Australian Timber Oil made buy Cabot and you can order it on the net or find a dealer near you. IT is good because you can repair a scratch or ding vary easily. I have used spar-varnish it is junk and I have used poly urethane. It is vary hard to get a good coat and when it goes bad it is a mess to repair. I also use pure tung oil I get on the net. I prefer tung oil because it is non toxic. When you use timber oil just brush on a good coat , let it soak in for 30 min or so and wipe off the excess. It won't give you a vary shinny finish but it is the best I have found. If you leave the furniture out side I would give it another coat every 1 to 2 years. The water will bead up on the wood just like a car wax. The timber oil and tung oil will dry allot faster also. The poly and varnish will go bad after a while and it is vary hard to repair and looks like crap. The timber oil or tung oil lasts longer and if it does fade a little just give it another coat.

Polyurethane is an external finish. Stuff like Watco Danish Oil will penetrate & strengthen fron inside, but aren't the best for outside furniture.
You could use the Danish Oil to strangthen/stain, & then the polyurethane to finish.

Not a giant wooden rabbit, but a HUGE television set for us to open and climb in to. I don't believe it was" part of his plan" ( LOL) at all, just something that we humans constructed ourselves. Anyhow its working just like the Trojan horse, isn't it? Destroying more people every day and stealing our ability to reason for ourselves. Pretty poison.

watco makes a exterior sealer which is uv restitant and mildewcides in it,also any local hardware store or lumber yard should have a vareity of exterior sealers, i would use one of these instead of the poly, they are a lot easierto use and can be reapllied every yearreal easily
