Yep...
however the concept has been done (over and over) in Hollywood. (Dreamscape... for one, Flatliners... I can think of a few)....
it's unlikely that you will be able to do it... because dreams occur on the cerebral cortex, and are the result of firing synapses. To be able to record and play that back... you would somehow have to figure how to "get into the circuit" or at least "AFFECT" the firing/duration/pitch etc.
Highly impractical without disassembling the human.
