No doubt. I was there in 1979 when Arsenal were 2-0 up against Man U wiith 5 minutes to go and it finished 3-2. The most heart stopping exhilarating 5 minutes in FA Cup history. No contest

In all the time I've been watching football, there have been some pretty insipid FA Cup Finals (1996, 2000) so last year's was a breath of fresh air. It was a brilliant game with all sorts of thrills and spills. The 2001 Final where Liverpool came from behind to beat Arsenal was also very memorable. I was watching it in a busy pub in Muswell Hill and the atmosphere was great.
Other good ones include 1979 (four goals in the last five minutes) and 1988 (a shock win for the 'lesser team' Wimbledon, and an exciting, backs-to-the-wall performance)

Liverpool 2-1 Arsenal in 2001 English FA Cup. Michael Owen scored two late goals to secure the victory. not forgetting last season's FA Cup between Liverpool & West Ham United.

ahhhhh, funny you should ask this....I bought at the weekend, my team SOUTHAMPTON beating Man U in the 1976 FA Cup final. It was wonderful watching it again at the weekend, and being able to watch it without stomach being stuck in the mouth awaiting a beating from Man U, which I think everyone thought was gonna happen. Mick Channon eh....bless him, it was also good to see the tackles of the era, they wouldnt stand a chance in todays game, and Peter Osgood, ran for the whole 90 minutes, not many players today could do that. And what about Big Mac eh.....what a manager, what a day, what a year....shame we have not been able to equal this since.

of the modern era, i'd say 2006 was the best. 05 and 01 were pretty amazing. 96 was good, but i guess i only like it because cantona scored a stunner in the 85th minute against the scousers. 1988 was the first cup final i remember, it was a goodie aswell.
