Big flared striped pants, boots, flowered shirt with a suede fringed vest, long dirty hair with bandana or flowers in it, sunglasses and lots of beads

A fringed leather vest over a tie dye shirt with bell bottoms and torn sneakers or no shoes at all. A headband or floppy hat. We also used to wear crochet vests. Yuck! My boyfriend had jeans with 4 buttons down the fly. The coolest guy in town had jeans that were so patched, there was no denim left, only patches. Oh yeah, and a frayed denim jacket was also cool. Denim miniskirts, sometimes made out of old jeans, or a long peasant skirt, the kind that has the tiers. You can still get those.

my gramma was a hippie. From the pics I seen, she used to wear jeans that buttoned up alot, w/ alot of patches of like flowers & peace signs, loose billowey shirts or tiedyed tees w/ a fringed vest. She was usually wearing sandles & a bandana on her head. her hair was always down & she always had on 2-3 necklaces. Most of her oufits looked pretty cute. Real feminie like. Or long skirts that had alot of ruffles on them instead of jeans.
