I can no longer work due to soft tissue injuries. If the settlement is too low, I would have to move out of state due to high cost of housing and thus could no longer attend weekly programs at my temple. Is this a "loss of society"? and can I use this to (partially) justify a dollar amount sufficient to remain in the area where I now live? (There would be additional justifications.)

Some states recognizes "loss of consortium" for intimate personal relationships. Very few recognize "loss of society" for general community relationships.

You can always ask for that as separate monetary damages, and it may or may not be allowed if the matter goes to trial. It all depends on the laws of your state, and previous court cases in your state that have addressed the issue.
