Tell him he invaded your privacy and he should have knocked and waited for your ok to come in. You don't have to explain what you were doing. He is 17, which means he has been masterbating and having wet dreams for a long time. If you want to stick it to him, then tell him that that you know what he has been doing for years and if you could get socks pregnant, there would be enough baby socks around to furnish the maturnity ward at the local hospital for years to come.
As far as aroused, forget about it. It is because he shares your secret and he is a guy... Women like to feel they can please a guy.. The uncomfortable part is that he is your brother. If you really want to play with his head, you can tell him that the next time he is in the shower playing with the shampoo, you know he is thinking about you. It is an embarassing situation, but you have all the power.

just don't talk or act like his looks bother you and it will pass. Don't start arguements later that he will bring this up in unless you can say something hurtful to him about weather it is true or not. If you are able to believablely tell his friends that you caght him or found evidence of him choking his chicken with some detail then he may not bring this up a second time when an arguement occurs in front of people. When alone and talking with him and he brings up the subject just say that some of "his hot sis's friends might be interested in him" And change the subject or keep on with a good story to get him to believe it.

he is probably grinning at you in that way because he has been there, done that. i would just let it go. what you do in the privacy of your room at 16 is PRIVATE. he has no right to judgeyou on it. the leering looks are inappropriate. i am guuessing that your room has no lock on it but maybe next time you can figure out a way to jam it so he can't just walk in on you.
some of the shame you are feeling probably comes from what you said. that you come from a very uptight, conservative family. but you weren't delivered by a stork. what you are doing is normal and a lot of teenagers start exploring themselves way younger than you. don't let him make you feel bad in all of this. look him in the eye and grin right back and then move on.
as for feeling turned on, push that away. don't go there. that is the part that is inappropriate although not unusual. as teenagers become aware of their own sexuality it is not unusual for them to become aware of their siblings as well. but block it out and move on. don't react to the jerry springer comments here. nothing has happened. just make sure nothing does.

Oh crap I guess remembering to lock the door is not going to happen again. Anyways you are siblings and he caught you doing something completely normal you are ashamed and self-conscious now of what he may think or feel. First of all you may just been his first visual of a in person nude girl. Oh well **** happens do not act on any temptations you may have you are family thats gross and second of all experiment with yourself but please wait to get it on with a guy your too young its sad that so many of todays youth girls are raising babies please don't be a statistic.

Tease him about the fact that he does it and make it your pact-secret... I bet he does it 50 times more than you!
Don't be ashamed in the least for masturbating... its normal as long as you dont do it 100 times a day or something... or perhaps later in marraige if you do it rather than please your hubby. But for now, enjoy the sensation, be more careful and let your brother know he does it too... say something like... "At least I dont do it as often as boys!" LOL
stand up stright and look people in the eye and don't appologize for being you!!!!!!!!!

Dont worry about it but if he has something to say he'll say it.The looks ask him why hes looking at you like that you dont really know the reason hes looking at you.Its something that you do and if your not emabaressed to admit it,dont let it bother you.Yes its wierd having your own brother walk in,but he has to accept it.That you do that. Its you and theres nothing wrong with doing what your doing. No matter what dont think any different from that.

It's all apart of growing up i guess. Nothing to be embarrassed or ashamed of. Exploration of ones body teaches and educates in more ways than one can imagine. But why not find a place to "explore" thats more private.
As for your brother. I'm sure he's "explored" his body a few times over. And i'm also sure he's done something you have caught him doing thats he's not to proud of.
Plus he's your brother, all siblings have something on the other one, thats his 1 up on you, whats yours on him?

Believe me, he's done it himself, probably more times than you! Don't say anything and if he gives you the smirk, stare right back at him until he looks away.
If he threatenes to tell your parents, remember it's his word against yours so just deny everything.
And remember to lock the door from now on!

Its one thing to state the fact and another to get into sooo much detail. I think you are b-sing...but anyway.
IF I say IF this is true, just let it pass. Do not talk to him about the event. He will eventually forget it even happened.
