Yes I do because of his credentials in the past and recent, He helped Japan win a bronze medal in the 2004 Olympics, in 2003 he won the ERA title with a 2.83 and he was the MVP of the first World Baseball Classic. I think this guy is going to be great in the Majors, I hear that Seattle are gonna go for him but I hope the Yankees get him.

I know everything about this guy,In his eight pro seasons Matsuzaka has won four Pacific league strikeouts titles, two ERA titles and one sawamura award,(the japanese equivalent of the Cy young) One NL scout lists SEVEN:96-mph fastball cutter,Japanese "shuuto" (like a two seamfastball),Curveball Changeup,Splitter, and Slider: another NL scout
says Matsuszaka throws three different sliders, bringing his total to 9 pitchers, They say he throws harder then Greg Maddux and that he has a better breaking ball,Now this is what really makes this guy scary!! This guy throws a new pitch called the gyroball
He's supposedly the first pitcher to throw this new pitch invented by two Japanese scientists and modeled after the football spiral to act like an overcaffeinated slider!!! Tell me you don't want this guy on your team!!!!!!!

He is coming off a great season and he is an overall great player. He should have a great career in the Major Leagues. Several Japanese players have had great careers once going to play in America. He'll do the same. He is still young and has had lots of experience.

I think he will be a solid pitcher for his first 2 years in the league, but then Major Leagers will figure out his stuff. I don't think he is as good as he looked in the WBC, because no one had ever seen him before. Players will learn how he pitches, and he will be average.

Yes..I think so..He was named the MVP of the WBC which is unbelievable, he's young (26 years young), and he comes from great competition in Japan or wherever he's from

It is hard to say, but if he does the same as in Japan, then yes. However, his wife is not very liked in Japan as you may know.
