No, not at all. It would be more dangerous by far to elect more Republicans who have so far screwed up every possible aspect of the wars.

And I'm a conservative.

A Republican president and Congress have given the world a nuclear North Korea, legalized torture, a US military spread almost to its capacity, greater Iranian influence in Iraq, and Iraq on the brink of civil war. This president has been reckless and incompetent, and Congress is failing in its job to provide oversight and a check. Bin Laden loves Bush, as his bungling has made violent Islamism more popular than ever.

Stop thinking 'supporting the troops' means 'supporting policies which put them in harm's way for no good reason'.

Well being that the no one seems to know how senstive nuclear information made its way online---along with the fact that the editors of the leading military newspaper has now called for Rumsfeld to step down, and even neocons are now blasting the adminstration, I'm curious to know how many more shoes need to drop before people realize that these types of scare tactics are nothing more than to worry voters who are already angry.

Considering that the Dems seem hellbent on destroying this country by being in blatantly in favor of illegal immigration, I think it would be dangerous to vote ANY Dem into Congress at ANY time ...

No I do not. Republicans have made a mess and it will take Democrats to fix it. Trust me...once you quit believing Karl Rove and the right wing rhetoric you'll discover free thinking once again.

The republicans created this mess. Jihadi's commit acts of terror because of Republicans. It's all their fault. Republicans have desroyed America, and the middle class.

Absolutely

Greater Defeat Than Vietnam"

A report in the online publication World Net Daily says some leaders of terrorist organizations are openly encouraging Americans to vote for Democrats… in order to hasten a U.S. troop withdrawal from Iraq.

Jihad Jaara — a senior member of the Palestinian Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade — says "of course Americans should vote Democrat." He went on to say a withdrawal from Iraq would mark the beginning of the collapse of what he called the U.S. "tyrant empire" — and would deal the US "a greater defeat than Vietnam."

Abu Ayman — a leader of Islamic jihad in Jenin — tells World Net Daily he is "emboldened" by Americans who compare Iraq to Vietnam. And the senior leader of that Palestinian group — says Democratic predictions that a withdrawal would end the insurgency are incorrect — and that a pullout would "prove the resistance is the most important tool — and that this tool works."

Yes, I agree...
Some Dems like to use history to make a point, but they're not looking at the whole picture. The bottom line is that the presidential oath spells it out with, "defend our coutry against ALL enemies, both foreign and domestic" They probably think the oath is out dated too.
