You cant say something like that without facts to back it up.
No liberal in their right mind thinks it is a sin to be rich. I personally just feel that since I have so much I should give back to those who dont have as much. It is confusing to some of us, why some people can just sit back and let others suffer when they could do something about it.
I would rather use my money to help someone who needs help than to buy more shallow materialstic crap that I dont need.

"Liberals" do not think it is a sin to be rich. They portray their party as a bastion for the middle class. They believe that any tax cut to help Americans should be for the middle and lower class. They feel that the less fortunate of us who give a hoot about America should be represented equally without having to rely solely on financial worth.

I am...well off, yet I volunteer my time to cook at two different shelters. The paid administrators are all "Liberals" yet all the volunteers are Conservative.

I have a liberal friend, another attorney, who calls it Jewish guilt. Substitute whatever for Jewish.
The wealthy liberals give the least to charities (Turner and Buffett are tokens). The greatest givers to charity are middle-class Republicans.
