Neanderthals were neanderthals. Evolutionist theory believes that the homo sapiens evolved from the neanderthal, but that does not make the neanderthal a homo sapien. So no, neanderthals are not part of the human race.
Chimps have an entirely different genus and species than humans. I don't see how you can classify them as part of the human race.
Think of it this way. Would you refer to a chimpanzee as a human? No, of course not. You would call it a chimpanzee, or a chimp. Or a monkey, if you were uneducated.
Saying all people are the same is not an attempt to generalize all walks and forms of the human race. It is our way of saying that all people are still exactly that: people. In the face of racism, some extreme racists believe that certain races should not even be referred to as humans and that they might instead be called animals.
"All people are the same" means "All people are humans" meaning that all people, regardless of race, gender or creed, ought to be treated equally. So it's not like saying the world is flat. The world is quite full of billions of individual humans, each different in their own unique way. And while no one is ever exactly the same as another, we still belong to the same race.

It is not correct to say that things, people, or anything are the same if they are not the same color. It would be more accurate to say that all people are the same except for the color of their skin.
Neanderthals are not part of the human race, they WERE part of the human race.
Chimps are not, and never have been any part of the human race.
There is no connection between the color of people's skin, and the shape of the world.

It like saying all dog species are dogs. Chimps are not humans, although closely related. The neanderthals cross bred with modern human species becoming one species. I think you have the human race confused with the classification of primates.

For some reason, ppl always either focus on how we're all the same, or how we're all different. If you look too much at the differences, you get a bunch of racists. If you look too much at the similarities, you try to fit everyone into one culture and end up destroying their own in the process. What we need to do is look at both at the same time, but for some reason humans aren't very good at that, apparently.

Rageling is wrong. Our brains are not the exact same. That is like saying a Chihuaha's brain is exactly the same as a St. Bernard's brain, which is not the case!
People say we're all the same because that is the multi-cultural doctrine of some people who want the white race to breed itself out of existence. There are differences between the races, skin color is only one of them and the most noticable as it affects phenotype, but there are several genetic and behavioral differences as well.

When people say that we are all the same, it means that we all think (basically) the same, we all want the same things out of life, and we are all motivated by the same desires. It does not mean we are all identical in every way.
Darwin never thought we are descended from chimps or any other kind of monkey. He theorized that we share a common ancestor.

The point is that we all have the same feelings, emotions, desires... etc etc.
Monkeys however, do not wish to be millionaires. They could care less. ( and although monkeys are supposed to be linked to the human race... they are not humans...they are monkeys.)

We are more or less at the same evolutionary level though. Our brains are exactly the same, so judgeing on superficial appearance is idiotic.
