Newcastle United have got big problems this season. They have lost Owen, Ameobe and co, and are relying on an unproven striker to score goals.
Roeder seems to begetting loads of grief from the fans and press, but i really do not think its his fault. Newcsatle have struggled to score goals all season, and they have got a problem in defence. Thats not good for a team that needs to start winning games.
Bramble is ot a premiership defender, he makes so many mistakes in a game. Duff has not done for Newcastle what he was doing for Chelsea. Emre was at fault for the goal yesterday, Given is injured, and they have no depth to the squad.
They need to look at the players they have, and play to there strengths, trouble is they have not got a striker to score for them, but they are also not creating many chances.
I feel sorry for them, cos i do have a soft spot for Newcastle, butthings do need to improve quickly or they could be in real trouble by christmas.

newcastle are by far the worst team i have seen this season and if something is not done quickly they will be playing sunderland next season, glen roeder and his hangers on are no good and need to go, then freddie shepherd needs to look world wide for a first class manager and let him have full control to sort the squad out and get rid of all the chaff or preferably bring back kevin keegan pronto

Given their support, ground and history I would like to see them doing really well and challenge the likes of Chelsea, Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool - which they should be doing. But sadly their team/squad is really no better than the likes of Manchester City, West Ham or Charlton. So they will struggle.

By the time we get Alan Shearer as manager how far down are we going to be, I do not blame Roeder you have to blame the board of directors. Plus on paper we have some good players but they are always injured. COME ON THE TOON

Crap manager, dodgy defence, no great midfield, and a toothless attack.
