it's a habit that she'll have to break. my husband and i have a swear jar and we put $.25 in it everytime. it worked so good that we collected $200 or so over the course of 30-40 days. needless to say, we don't swear as much b/c our jar only gets enough quarters to do maybe 3 loads of laundry.

I've found that when I used to swear, that what ever influences I had, movies, music, and things that I read, if they had alot of swearing in them, I noticed that I would swear alot more.
Now I don't swear anymore, and if I do, it's a very rare slip.
So it could be her influences she has daily.

Instead of focusing on your wife who is an adult you should focus on the kids that are minor and should not be using that kind of language.

She's not going to change. Try to get her to manage where and when she uses those words.

Don't know, but she's an adult so its really not something you are going to be able to control. How about asking her?

I don't know, but if you charge her a quarter for every curse word she stop in no time, those quarters add up.
