Get a therapist, they are good listeners and often have pearls of wisdom to impart.

Hi,my dad died in 99 & my mam died the 10th of october this year.We all deal with what life throws at us in different ways.Just because your gay makes no difference your a human being with the same feelings as anyone else.I think time helps to heal wounds & you have to put on a brave face which sometimes is
impossible. For now I am having good & bad times infact half the time I do not know what im doing.I try to focus on there is always some one else worse off than me & that is you.I am not bothered about you being gay. That should be the first thing you come to terms with.I will not have helped you, your heart will help you.Goodluck

It's not because you're gay, many people have problems making friends, and some people like just having a few friends.
When I have a problem, I try to think it over and come up with a solution which will suit me. I think of all the possibilities, the pro's and con's, the costs and benefits.
Don't rush into solutions, if you are being pushed for an answer, don't be afraid to ask for time to consider you options.

I don't know how old you are but you sound very mature and sensible. I don't think you have anything to worry about. When the time comes I think you will make the right decisions. Unfortunately, there's no book you can buy that gives you the right answers, so find a friend or counsellor you can trust to talk things through with and then go with your instinct. Good luck. . . I mean it.

You'll just have to cross those bridges when you get to them. You can't decide how to solve a problem until you're actually in that situation. Time and perseverance normally helps. Just chill and relax! And for the friends matter, go to a gay bar, and meet new people in the same situation.
Goodluck!

what do you want from life, do you like your job, talk to a friend, think about you now, so sorry everybody else has vanished.
find out who your friends are and keep them if you can. life can be lonely, continue to pursue a relationship with your parents and grandparents. go for a place in life, a career, there is further education, available to all, this is a way into many friendships, good luck, many friends.

Those life situations that come along are there to help us grow and shape us as individuals. Don't worry so much about doing things properly because it's okay to make mistakes and honestly that's how we learn. Just do what feels right to you. Also, it's important to talk to people you trust, even if it's them just listening to you as you talk about your problems. We all need that from time to time. Take care!

be positive...stand tall....and believe in yourself....life's not that bad, and yes...we can all scrape out of even the hardest situations....being gay is not the reason why you don't have many friends, you have to go to the same places gay people go to, make new friends...you never know what's round that corner..you will find friends....be yourself and believe in YOU
