Mnemosyne after the Greek goddess of memory.
That way, everytime you call your rabbit's name you will be reminded to remember the old one.

I'm so sorry your last rabbit had to be put to sleep. You must be a really good owner.
I have some baby bunnies and I asked the same question of what to name them and I got this webiste..
http://www.mybunnyfarm.com/names/index.htm
very helpful. Take some time to get to know your rabbit's personality and find a name. Good luck!

Loopy, Seekay*, Nibbles, Smeech, Licorice, Blackjack, Beejay or Tarry.
Think my favourite might be Beejay ... short for Black Jack - as he's black & a rabbit is sometimes known as a Jack Rabbit.
Bet he's gorgeous, love the lop-eared ones ... had one for years, a brown agouti one, called Bart.

Sorry for your loss - I recently lost my gorgeous bunny Binky. I have his sister Pickle and my new bunny is from a rescue and was already called Jack.
I met a super adorable bunny at the rescue who belonged to the people who run it called Taddington which I think is a great name!

You could take the first letter of your previous rabbit's name and then call your new rabbit something like this:
If name was Gloria, you could call it G2.
Or Geetoo. Something like that. That way, you would always be remembering your previous rabbit with joy.
