Nobody is winning the war in Iraq. Sacrificing our soldiers lives are not worth it

I guess this is what you reap when you sow the whirlwind, as the expression goes.

This is a thought for all you Bush/Republican/Halliburton supporters:

You cannot go into a sovereign nation - no matter how repellent it may be - and kill its citizens and destroy its infrastructure and expect to be welcomed as heroes. The entire premise on which this was was based was false - there ARE no WMDs, there WAS NO tie between Saddam and Al Qaeda. The enterprise was doomed from the start. And suggesting retrospectively that this was perhaps the beginning of a great experiment - that replacing Saddam with a democratically elected government government would make all the rest of the Middle East drop their various dictatorships and go over to democracy - is equally fallacious thinking.

The saddest aspect of this mess is that thousands of innocent family lives have been destroyed - those of the US soldiers who have been killed or maimed, and those of the Iraqi civilians who suffered the same fate. Their lives will not soon be put back into working order. And to use them, and their lives, as justification for continuing this war is not just unconscionable, it is cynical and manipulative.

This War for Oil did not go as they were expecting.Being arrogant they kept on going and lost so many of fine young men and women in addition to the loss of respect and influence .This has to be stopped as Howard Dean said yesterday.

As long as the Bush war machine is making money for him, he could care less who is dying. He has the neo-cons so fooled that they will believe anything. Delusional may be a word for the people that vote for repuglicans this election.

Do you believe the Propaganda Left Wing Media is so delusional that they can't see the truth? It is not a civil war when the majority of those fighting you are from Syria, Iran, etc. That is an invasion. Sunnis and Shiites are fighting, Shiites are connected to Iran. mmmmm you have bought the propaganda from the PLWM's. War is ugly. People die, but do they ever state how many insurgents have died? what the numbers of the insurgents there that are dying daily? gee i don't recall seeing that inumber n the PLWM's. Do you? it would be interesting to see that, we could compare numbers.. we are only loosing in the media.

Here's a statement from an equally reliable source

Greater Defeat Than Vietnam"

A report in the online publication World Net Daily says some leaders of terrorist organizations are openly encouraging Americans to vote for Democrats… in order to hasten a U.S. troop withdrawal from Iraq.

Jihad Jaara — a senior member of the Palestinian Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade — says "of course Americans should vote Democrat." He went on to say a withdrawal from Iraq would mark the beginning of the collapse of what he called the U.S. "tyrant empire" — and would deal the US "a greater defeat than Vietnam."

Abu Ayman — a leader of Islamic jihad in Jenin — tells World Net Daily he is "emboldened" by Americans who compare Iraq to Vietnam. And the senior leader of that Palestinian group — says Democratic predictions that a withdrawal would end the insurgency are incorrect — and that a pullout would "prove the resistance is the most important tool — and that this tool works."
