The potential energy of object at the top of incline of height h is mgh. The object stops when all of the energy has been dissipated by friction.
E = R\m k d
R is the magnitude of the normal reaction force,
k is the coefficient of kinetic friction,
d is the distance traveled by the object while in contact with the surface.
Do the algebra to get the answer( it depends on what you mean by distance traveled) That is your hypothesis. Keeping the height constant will make the analysis of results simple

Under procedure, there are 2 different ways to vary the slope. The choice between them is important. In one way you have different lengths but the height at the top is constant. In the other way you only need one ramp of fixed length and the height varies along with the slope. My hypothesis is that the 2 methods will give different results.

the purpose of the experiment is of course the question you posted.

hypothesis is "the greater the angle of incidence, the further the object travels" or the opposite if youre felling antagonistic.

variables include the shape of the object, mass, surface material, length of slope etc.

procedure includes you fixing all the variables and only allowing the angle of the plane to vary during all your experiments. this means choosing the object and fixing all its properties too. then tabulate a table of distances travelled with different angles of incidence. plot a graph with distance travelled against angle. when you get a line with a positive gradient, then the hypothesis is proven correct.
