Just have fun dance with friends and if a slow song comes on just wait till a boy asks you to dance than dance but what I'm trying to say is have fun that is what school dances are for!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dance. If you aren't that confident in your dance skills, you can choose to only dance the slow dances. spend the rest of the time socializing.

if you're there to impress people, make sure to look sharp and people watch and hang out with your friends. then, when you're up for it, hit the dancefloor.
if you're actually going to dance, then dance like nobody is watching and go buck wild. you might look like a freak, but you'll be having fun, and people might be jealous (or secretly admire you) of how brave you are to do something so gutsy.
if you're concerned about your skills, practice at home or watch music videos with a good/honest friend....

if ur single: flirt and dance with friends.
If ur taken: dance with friends and slow dance with boyfriend (if you have a decent boyfriend)
