Of course it does. If you put a tape recorder in an empty area and waited until a tree fell, you'd have a recorded sound of a tree falling.
Just because your ears didn't hear it, it doesn't mean it didn't make a sound.

you mean the tree speaks and make sound or the sound of the fall... like shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. or shooooosh....or splashhhhhhhh
:) yeah .. that could be possible that the tree make voice for it self like eeeeeeekkkkk .. but no one can hear it ..

When a tree falls (or anything moves for that matter) it vibrates, which resonates soundwaves through the air. These waves are invisible ripples in the air which inevitably formulate nothing and fade to nonexistence.
If nothing is there with an apparatus (ie. an ear) to capture those soundwaves then the soundwaves DO NOT MAKE A SOUND...
A sound is only a sound once it is captured by a receiver.
It is as if I ask...
If a recorder is played in an abyss with no one to listen to its message...was there anything communicated?
