Women do not hate men. However they may not be terribly fond of aspects men posses. Overly macho, abusive or stingy come to mind right off, guys who want to be viewed more positively could try the golden rule: "Do unto others as you would have done unto yourself" in other words if your gf is treating you well do the same, buy her a surprise just for nothing gift, give her a back rub without request, treat her as well as she treats you and you will be pleased with the result. Women bit.. because the man in their life is not paying attention to the little things like hey she made dinner-from a recipe not the freezer- or bought your favorite wine-or left hot water for your shower. Things we do to show we care are overlooked, sometimes just a thank you is more than enough and few would hate to receive even a grocery store bouquet. Just notice that we love you and return the attention. That's really not to difficult a task.

Ehh, when you've been treated like crap by enough men, you start thinking there aren't any decent ones out there. Though I always thought there was SOME decent man out there, but he was probably living in Peru or something and wouldn't speak English. :P
Fortunately, I never entirely gave up and now live with a guy who's everything I ever wanted, and everything I didn't know I wanted until I got it. :)
