I hear you..we will always have to live with dust. buy a swiffer duster and let the kids help out

I hear you. I hate forced air furnaces that just blow and blow dust around. I am such a clean freak and yet I'm always dusting. I put dust filters on each vent. That helped, but it reduced the air flow and heat to the house, so I don't know if that's a good idea. I think the dust comes from the cold air intakes or just from people walking in and out and then the furnace blows it around. (or from having your windows open in the summer) I nocticed when I moved now to a place with hot water heating, there is a lot less dust.

Most dust found in the home is the skin particles from people ...don't let anyone in your home I guess if you don't want dust !!

if you have rugs or carpet in your house from there, dirt outside in your driveway that you bring in your shoes, and of course your airfilter.
