It is : I like laying in the grass.

Actually it's I like Lying down in the grass .
Cuz Lying alone is from Lie
and Laying from Lay eggs , like the chicken do .

If you are talking about physically laying in the grass, the correct grammar is I like laying in the grass. If you are talking about telling lies while laying or being otherwise in the grass, the correct grammar is I like lying in the grass.

I hate this sort of thing. I know that if I would've said this sentence without being faced with choices or extensive thought I would've been able to say it correctly. After seeing the choices, I'm not sure. Thaaanks. Now this question is going to bother me for hours until I figure it out. LOL

I like lying in the grass. To lay means to lay something down, such as to lay your book on the table.
