Yes, this is true. I know people over the age of 50 who are terribly immature. I don't know why. Maybe life keeps knocking them down and they don't know how to bounce back. I do feel badly for them.

Sure, why not? As long as you fulfull your responsibilities and live a good life, practicing that old axiom, "My purpose in life is to help others; what the others are here for, I don't know" . . . which to some may sound a bit contradictory, but is not impossible.
