I want to get a pen pal really badly but I don't know wether it's safe or not. I need some advise on what I should do and if its it's safe or not.

I am not really looking for anything special in a pen pal.I just want to do it because it seems fun and to get rid of boredome

i know some magazines will have pen-pal programs. if you're young enuff, talk to your teacher about maybe setting up a foreign pen-pal exchange system w/ kids ur age in another country (who go to school). u mite want to make sure its a country that speaks ur language tho.
i set off a balloon w/ a letter attched to it b4 and got a pen-pal. not my age, but it was nice to be able to write to her for guidance.

Just go buy a xbox 360 get xbox live, and you don't need a pen pal you just connect and play online chat,send messages,pictures all from the gaming console its that simple.

have pen palled for years snail mail and on-line....and never had a problem and it is great to get to know people all around the world...you will off and on if you post your address on line get mail from people asking you for money, just ignore them...I find it best to take down the addresses and be the first one to write
