he was the model for a ton of romantic novel covers and i believe that's how he got his start, then from there he just got popular on his own right because of his fantastic physique, i'd guess and long hair, but his popularity is also kind of purposefully cheezy--ie. he KNOWS exactly how cheezy his image can be and he kind of milks it and makes fun of it too, so i think people like his good-natured attitude as well; of course now he has a perfume and just continues to be a success. personally, i don't find him attractive, but i do think he's funny and of course has a great bod. just a funny aside--i've seen his poster on the back of bathroom doors in nightclubs before--thought it was pretty hilarious and cool.

For me, his face is really ugly - small eyes, too big a face, and way too chiselled, but then, I think Brad Pitt is ugly, so maybe I'm not the 'typcial' woman. I hate the way too muscular body type too, so there you go - for an Italian, he's really ugly, there are so many more attractive guys out there - don't know who is worse though - Pitt or Fabio!

Beats me lol, I think he's just a pretty boy with long hair. There are some people who love hearing foreign accents and his looks add to it. As for me, I don't think he's cute but that is a personal opinion lol.
