When I was 17 worked at a gas station 25-30 hours a week for $9 an hour and had no bills. $300 was chump change.

Its probably nothing to worry about, My baby bro doesn't have a job and i help him with his cell phone bills sometimes but to be on the safe side look into it.

Ask questions, if he gives a name of a company or whateva.. call it up and ask if then know "your kids name here".

Follow him if ya have to to find out the truth. If he is selling drugs or whateva you will turn out to be a hero. He might not look at it in that light at first but he will one day.
Selling drugs, weed or whateva its dangerous and people get shot for the stupidest things.

Most 17 year olds live wth their parents. When you don't have to pay rent, $300 isn't a whole lot. He or she could work at McDonald's and still have lots of nice "stuff"!

If you think 300 Dollar is a lot, feel sorry for yourself. you can work at Mcdonald for a week and earned 500dollar. Maybe he work after school hour or in the weekend. who knows

Unless he saved up for quiet a while i would say the money was from doing no good(drug dealing,break & entering).

well, does his mom or dad buy for him? is he only child? All is know is alot of kids take expensive stuff for granted. My teenage son has lost or got stolen in upwards approx. $1k in merchandise within the last year!

he could have saved for many weeks? why do u have to assume something he is doing is wrong??? and why dont u just mind ur business! does him buying that phone harm you?? then dont worry about it. i found that poking your nose in things.. gets it cut off@!
