Contact your local bar association for a referral for an attorney who specializes and practices only in family law. Go to your local library and utelize their legal section. The more you know the better off you will be. Your local court house should have a law library too that allows for public use. Check into it.

Get online, search for your local county courts. Once at that site, click on forms, you should be able to fill them out online as well (free), so it will only be the filing fee at the courthouse you have to worry about.
Its really pretty easy.
