Brittleness has no unit in any System of Units. It is a character of material.

Ductile material, during failure, will have reduction in cross section and have long elongation & takes time to fail, after reaching ultimate tensile strength . Failed section will look like a truncated cone.

Brittle material, during failure, will have short or no elongation and no reduction in cross section and fail instantly, without any time lag after reaching ultimate tensile strength. Failed section will have approximately square edge.
