I kind of like John Kerry at the moment. He has shown the American people why we voted for Bush.

John Kerry is not my favorite. But. For people to take the word of people who just say, on the strength of nothing, that he said what he didn't say, and who say that he said something they would like him to have said, and go around acting as if he had really said what they wish he had said, well, that's pathetic.
Over and over, the clip has been shown and there is no way an intelligent, reasonable person could hear anything buy a badly delivered joke about Bush.
To use your position to bamboozle the ready-to-believe into thinking a guy said something he didn't is to lie and mud-sling, and says more that is unflattering about the perpetrators of this sort of thing and their followers than it does about the target.
Why should people trust people who do this sort of thing? They shouldn't, and they don't.

Wednesday, June 02, 2004 Declassified Records Show John Kerry Shortchanged Saigon Hooker 6/2/2004 - William Grim
Washington, DC - Declassified military records from the Vietnam era could prove to be extremely damaging for John Kerry’s bid for the presidency, according to sources close to the Pentagon. In particular, the transcript of a previously unknown court-martial of Kerry during his tour of duty in Vietnam reveals that Kerry was brought up on fraud charges when he refused to pay a Saigon hooker for an evening of sex.
Broken Newz has located and spoken with Col. Gordon “Buzz” Niedermaier, US Army Ret., of Coral Groves, Florida, who was the chairman of Kerry’s court-martial. “Yeah, I remember it very well,” said Col. Niedermaier. “Strange case. But what really sticks in my mind is that Kerry didn’t understand that the guy is supposed to pay the hooker. Dumb sumbitch thought it was the other way around.”
In related news, Broken Newz has just learned that Mary Louise Jensen, 26, of Plano, Texas, a former intern in Kerry’s senate office, is alleging in documents filed in a sexual harassment lawsuit in Federal Court in Dallas that “during the period of July 2001 to April 2002, Senator Kerry on numerous occasions asked Ms. Jensen to pay for sexual privileges with the Senator. Additionally, Senator Kerry stiffed Ms. Jensen for the check at restaurants on more than six, but not more than thirty-five occasions.”

Until we get an attorney general with the backbone to try anyone for treason, the hole works for me.

Of course not. Is there anything relevant you wish to discuss instead of senseless Kerry bashing?
