iv heard that the first snow of that season is called "angel snow" and its "garded" by an angel... but if you catch it before it reaches the ground, your cursed..!?!?!?!
is this an actual story/myth thats been pased down or is it just some story made up.

just a superstition.
how would it be possible; somewhere ealse nearby - a higher elevatino or a bit to the north - will invariably have had snow before you (thus your snow wasn't "first" of the season).

Skepticism is the correct philosophical and scientific attitude. Seek out any proof or corroborating empirical evidence for the phenomenon. Lacking such, it is assumed to be only a story.
I'm fairly certain the 'angel snow' myth is just a story.
