It now only blows out cold air.
Up to recently it would blow cold, but if i went over a bump or shoock the car (breaked quick) it would make the hot air come out.
You could hear a bump noise and then get hot air.
But now that does not work.
Is this going to be hard to fix?

If you have an AUDI 80, it sounds like your flap under the dash in your hvac unit is not working. Some are vaccum controlled or by a cable. Check to see if all of your vaccum hoses are connected or the cable is un hooked.

"The heater stopped" as in no blower motor or as in chilly air purely out of vents? without understanding WTF you advise, i could exceedingly advise you to notchronic the motor vehicle till you recognize the water pump is working. If a belt broke inflicting the charging warning mild to come back on it would even have been utilising the water pump. do no longer wreck your motor in case you do no longer understand what's happening. Have a mechanic advise you whether it means having the motor vehicle towed to the restoration shop.

check the fuse for the heater blower . also check your coolant level , if its low this could coz your heater to blow cold . if the level is ok you will probably need a new thermostat .
