I don't think it's anything gross like an STD or something, but does anyone have an idea on why it's orange?

All I drink is water, everyday, because anything other than water breaks my face out.

The part of the your urine (if it is normal) that makes it orange is creatinine. If you are not taking in enough fluids it gets darker--they recommend 8 glasses of water a day (that's a half gallon at 8 oz a glass). So if you are not taking in enough fluid that can make the urine darker. To some extent what you eat has an effect on color too. Then there is the possibility of illness--if you are noticing a change in your urine color, that may be the cause--a well known cause is hepatitis--the red bile (bilirubin) gets passed through the urine, making it dark, frequently tea-colored. Other medical conditions can darken the urine too--also make it smell. Another possibiltiy is medicine, are you taking any? Some medicines can effect urine color too--one is Metformin for diabetics, which seems to darken the urine and make it smell. If you are talking about a sudden change in urine color, you should take this up with a doctor. If it is a regular condition, drink more water.

The color of your urine is usually determined by how concentrated it is.

When it's in the yellow family, light yellow to orange, that just has to do with how much water you've had. If your urine in consistently dark orange, you probably are a bit dehydrated and need more water. Make sure you're getting your 8 glasses per day.

If your urine is an unusual color, like brown, green, or red (bloody), see your doctor right away. In this case, you probably have some sort of infection and should have a urine and/or blood test.

You need to drink more water, you are not drinking enough, if ur urine is dark in a morning then its perfectly normal if its like that later in the day, then as I have said u need to drink much more water, its ur kidneys getting rid of the toxins in ur urine, and if u drink more water it flushes it through quicker

It may be blood in your urine. Go to a doctor and get a urinalysis to be sure it is not serious.
