If it were possible to be virtually immortal...?

...which, it may be, someday...should we give up the option to have children to do it?

After all, we wouldn't need to "replace" ourselves, except on rare occaisions.

why would you want to lose your children for that, the way you could be immortal is to go to sleep for a long time and wake up.. you would lose most your friends and family but whatever i wouldnt do unless everyone was
