The Surreal Life likes to dig up old has-beens. then they discovered people can't take their eyes off this train wreck of a man, so they keep finding more stuff for him to do.

He reappered via VH1's Surreal Life...they like to bring back old celebrities that have been sort of off the market...after that season of the surreal life flava flav fell in love with one of his cast mates and they were a very weird couple. so VH1 saw an opportunity with that and made a series from their real life wierd love. then when Flava and his new love didnt work out...bumbabum...VH1 TO THE RESCUE!!!..... thus Flavor of Love is born!!!

The VH1 show The Surreal Life dragged him in. He then got involved with Brigette Nelson on that show and they were so crazy together VH1 gave them their own show. When their relationship failed he was given the latest show - version one and two.
