They're the incumbent party - no more or less corrupt than the Dems, but certainly seem to be more hypocritical when they get caught. They're the party with the Conract, after all - supposed to be honest and all that.
Dems can seem more consistent because they espouse no values, so when they get caught stealing, taking bribes, etc, it is just "o well, they're Democrats, they're supposed to act that way".

you obviously do not check on facts and just regurgitate what you hear the lib/dems spew. we republicans fire those in our party when they do wrong. the democrats, they promote them and the media will not report anything the dems do wrong and the list is impressively long, only the republicans.
go read a book or something and learn something from scholarly sources.
