Resurrection Sunday... Mostly everybody else calls it "Easter." It commemorates the day when Jesus rose from the dead and proved He is God.
Why is it my fave? It is comforting to know that good wins out over evil in the end and I like happy endings - although one could argue that it's actually a happy beginning...

25th as an religion by giving our familys gifts ,singing christmas
caroles ridding an hay wagon down the streets with a church
quier some times or a group dressed in the early1800's outfits
only or going to relative's house for christmasday dinner

EID
There are two Eids these are Eid-ul-adha and Eid-ul-fitr (this one occurs at the end of Ramadhan). Eid to me is a time when I can bond with my family and friends. Most of the youth tend to hire out flashy cars with their new clothes trainers and expensive chav hooded tops. I dont spend my time with these people because they havnt acknowledged the whole purpose of Eid. Eid is celebration not showing off your money. Fire works are lit but not to loud for which the neighbors will scream. There is a certain time to do certain things, its no good having an Eid party at 10 p.m or lighting fireworks at 3 a.m. Eid brings friends together and family closer. Muslims should stop their work and celebrate.
I wake up early in the morning around 4 or 5 i take a bath and cut my nails wear clean new clothes and put on my traditional clothes. I go to the Mosque to see the chavs and bad Muslims at the front of the Mosque I am surprised only once a year i see them here. They are first in and first out but who can guess where they go? Clubs, disco's, racing cars but not with their families. It seems Eid is for Muslims who think and care they forget Eid means peace and nothing else...

Thanksgiving ... because it's all about family. We used to gather at my great aunt's. Relatives would come from out of town. It was so much fun running and playing with all of our cousins. Then after we were grown, seeing our children playing together like we used to do was priceless.
Unfortunately, my aunt passed away and we have all scattered even further away and we don't get together like we used to, but I will always cherish those memories. We still get together on a smaller scale at my mom's house or my brother's house ... but I've had to work most thanksgivings in recent years. Dang it!

Christmas - it's great to take a break and reunite with family. Of course I love the whole getting-of-the-presents deal, because that's like the best part, but you make so many memories in the kitchen with family...I just love the atmosphere.

CHRISTmas. I like it the most because of the attitude about it and everyone is just in a good mood. It is just the feeling.
