I found a Sony Ericsson W800 phone a few months ago, with no SIM card, but I have my own SIM b/c I have a T-Mobile phone. But the only problem is that the phone is locked. I can still play and download music to it, but is there any way that I can get the phone lock code?

If you "found" a phone, you should try and return it to it's rightful owner. If this just isn't for you, you will need to call Sony Ericsson and get the SUBSIDY UNLOCK CODE from them. They will also tell you how to input this code (it's the only legal way to unlock a phone) into the phone and after that you should be able to use it on T-Mobile's service.

You definitely need a sim card to play music and stuff, but if you want to get it unlocked, there are generally little shops or, "workplaces" where they do it. This how you can generally find out, if they do PlayStation or XBox chipping(which is like unlocking a PlayStation etc) they would generally do unlocking...You can have a look in the Yellow Pages, and it will give you a list of all the places that do phone unlocking, Good Luck...Man your lucky!

just take it to engineers cos am not an GSM engineer ok? but if u have took it to them and it did not open, hurrily get ur house key and fix it at the bombom of the phone and then it will open ok. lol

If you know the phone company that it had service with, you can call them and maybe get the code.

Okay first press the select button, whatever it may be, and push the star key and that should work. That's what i do with mine.

just call tmobile, if you have an account with them they can get you the unlock code
