I wanted to swap them for a gold ring that said "mum" on it. The guy in the shop said he would take the kids, but he still wanted £30 on top of that. What is the world coming to?

For the record, this is a joke - some of you really don't get it do you? I do not have 10 children - I am happily married with 3 fantastic children who I would not swap for the world - well, not at the pawn shop anyway.

Nice one, I tried to take mine back after 30 days and discovered that I had only a 28 day return on them.......I never thought of the pawn shop or cash converters

Surely if you have 10 kids, you could spare another two?
Here in the UK we're very lucky, people sometimes leave babies in those world famous bright red telephone boxes.
Wow, if you find a baby, you could be quids in!! I'm sure there are loads of places near me were you can swap a baby for a week's worth of fruit or vegetables. Who knows, maybe even meat and fish!! And I live in one of the posh parts of London- goodness knows what those peasants of elsewhere get up to!

Could you pawn another one to get the £30 you need? You're right btw, some people have no sense of humour.

No you needed to go to cash converters. They will take anything no questions asked. You could have probably got a gold ring and a pen!! see how good is that.

well, can you blame him? if your trying to trade your kids in they must be pretty bad! if they are still young you could try adoption. then with all the extra money that you spend on food and clothes you could buy a gold ring that says mum on it. well hopefully your kids will know your doing the right thing for them.........
