Of course you should. Being resentful is only a burden to yourself and it's a heavy weight to carry.

Donald this isn't a happiness race. You still are resentful of the divorce, I understand, it took me quite a while too. However, you need to take your eyes off her and focus on you. Please, don't go get married just because she did. You want to make her unhappy, stay single and show what a good time you are having! But, that's just a sad response to a bitter break up. If you have kids, be there for them. A single father from a divorced family, has many more opportunities than a remarried dad!

If you truly love your ex you will want her to be happy, even if that means with someone else. Love is about sacrifice, So you are sacrificing your happiness to make sure that the person you love is happy. That's true love.

Well done not every one can do that.

It all depends on how you 2 broke up in the first place. If she cheated on u during the relationship even though it's going sour, then you can careless whether she's happy or not. But be glad that u don't have to deal with her anymore. is there a chance u might be still in love with her???

If you're paying alimony, maybe you will get lucky, and she will marry the guy:)

I figure it's safer to have a happy ex than an unhappy one. An unhappy one might take a look at her life one day, decide it sucks, and conveniently pin all the blame on you..., and then you have that disgruntled postal worker element out there--smile.

Yes, you should feel good about it because you're not going to be crying over some girl that's very happy & forgot about you & you're going to be crying about it?? Be a true man & get a girl like you deserve.

Good Luck,
You Typical Girl

Why not? If you haven't already, you will find someone else to be happy with, so why not wish it upon someone else? We are all someone else's ex and life would suck pretty hard if we all wished our ex's were miserable!
Good Luck!
Aloha!!

unless you still have feelings for her then you should be happy for your ex. sooner or later you're going to be happier with someone else and your ex will be happy for you.
