Under political pressure from Republicans Bush posted many documents captured in the Iraq war on the web to help make the case that there was justification for Bush's war. In those documents were VERY DETAILED plans on HOW to build nuclear weapons from before 1991 when Saddam was his buddy.

Last night the White House finally shut down the web site after the New York Times asked about complaints from weapons experts that Bush was GIVING nuclear weapons plans to the terrorists.
The weapons experts were shocked by the public disclosures. Bush talks about fighting a war on terrorism yet he gives terrorists the most detailed a-bomb plans that have ever been published.

How could they put nuclear plans on the Internet without knowing that they were there?
The Republicans are putting the safety of the world at risk for pure political purposes!!!

Why are Bush & the Republicans HELPING
the terrorists get nuclear weapon information?

WHY?

You mean apart from the fact that he is a war mongering cretin that needs to be put out to pasture before he involves the entire globe in terrorist reprisals?

He isn't the sharpest tool in the box - never was - but his many advisers usually help prevent him making a TOTAL ar** of himself - mostly.

Admittedly they panic when he does his little walk-about talk abouts - as he relies on his own wit rather than pre-prepared speeches. It tends to get a little wobbly then.

I'm sorry but asking WHY to ANYTHING to do with bush is a bit pointless. The guy isn't half sharp.

You answered your own question. It was political desperation, led by Senators Hoekstra(R) and Roberts(R). The documents didn't even prove their case.

Funny thing (or not so funny) is that Fox News tried to spin it as if the documents were recovered in 2003 by showing a clip of soldiers taking a bunch of binders out of a building, when they were retrieved prior to 1991 according to David Kay, head weapons inspector. They also tried to spin it as if it somehow proved that he was working on nuclear weapons.

Sheer desperation.

Democrats fail to see substance. The website was posted because in the reports in concluded that Saddam was a YEAR AWAY from an atomoic bomb. And I thought you Democrats thought Saddam was harmless...

Did you miss that?

I don't know he shouldn't have. He should have left people like you to stay ignorant, because either way, you are

He was trying to show some of the classified documents that the US has found in Iraq, and trying to tell people that the people have no idea of what is really going on
