The nurses. the doctors don't want the kids to fear them or associate pain with them. So they let the nurses do the injections for them.

It is common practise for nurses to give children their vaccinations. There are some instances, however, in which a doctor or pediatrician will do so - for example, if a child has any allergy to anything in the shot (eg. MMR is grown in egg culture, so for an egg-allergic child.) By and large though, most vaccinations are entirely uncomplicated and performed by (exceptionally competent and compassionate!) nurses.

I think it doesnt really matter. Some nurses are allowed to give children shots, but really ameteur nurses arent. Also, doctors get paid way more than nurses

I think nurses. When I get shots my normal pediatrician doesn't inject them, it is a random lady.

Depending on which state you are in. Most states allow for nurses or physician's assistants to administer injections as long as the doctor is on the premises. Medical technicians may also be allowed to do this as long as the doctor is on the premises.
