I'm not sure if you meant this question as a joke or not. But there really is a Willy Wonka candy maker. They don't make chocolate but they do make candies like "nerds" and "sweet-tarts". You can check them out on line at willywanka.com

I think it is based around a chocolate factory in the town where Roald Dahl grew up. this could be the one in Bourneville, near Birmingham which is the Official Cadbury Factory and runs tours for anyone who wants to live the dream, if only for a few hours.

Roald Dahl simply refered to it as "a great town."
Dahl's inspiration for Charlie and the Chocolate factory came from his childhood boarding school days, when he and his classmates were recruited to be taste-testers for Cadbury. This was one of the only high-points of that experience, which he chronicled in his autobiography.
